Video: Dave Deporis - Hurt

Here is a gem of a video from New York-based singer-songwriter Dave Deporis, performing a new track ‘Hurt’, in an abandoned army base in Central California. The performance is imbued with a sublime reverb courtesy of the venue, which acts as a giant amplifier for the performance. Deporis has been performing and recording for years, largely in the New York area, where he has been championed by influential shows such as WNYC’s Spinning on Air, and performed with artists including Sam Amidon and Ólöf Arnalds. ‘Hurt’ is part of a new collection of songs, which Deporis says will see some kind of release in 2010.
