Monday Art Links! April 20 2009

— Hinterland Festival takes place across Glasgow in a week’s time, and not content with boasting the most exhaustive music line-up ever seen, they’ve started adding a series of art events to the festivities, including a LuckyMe-curated exhibit at the Glasgow School of Art, musical sketch-artist Jenny Soep, and a Glasgow PodcART-supported exhibit at the new White House Gallery (off Argyle Street).
— Cut-Click, a smashing free art and design magazine based in the UK, are inviting your submissions for issue 8 of the mag, and for a gallery exhibition taking place this summer in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Interested artists should contact them via cut-click.co.uk.
— Daddison, one of my favourite British designers, posted this rather awesome flyer-text wrapped-around-a-head graphic for the launch for Muhsina and Blowpop’s thirteenth birthday party on his blog. Daddison has featured previously on Earz Mag here.
— Nutriot posted an interview with Machine, the design duo responsible for art direction at the Dutch record label Kindred Spirits. A must-read for fans of album artwork.
— Illustrationmundo posted a nice interview with the illustrator Jon Klassen (pictured).
— The work of notorious graffiti writer Chaka goes on exhibition in Los Angeles this week.
That’s all for now folks, keep your link suggestions coming in!
