Print Liberation book: start screenprinting

Print Liberation are a design troupe from Philadelphia who just released the paperback- Print Liberation: The Screen Printing Primer- on North Light Books. The book offers a do-it-yourself guide to the fundaments of screenprinting, which also journeys briefly into the history of craft, and comes adorned with lashes of graphic design and visual examples. In their own words…

“Print Liberation with Luren Jenison shows you how to start screen printing today using the most basic elements—a screen, some emulsion in a bucket, artwork, a light source and a sink. With your burned screen, a squeegee and some ink, you can print any image onto anything you feel like printing. While screen printing can be unpredictable, with some helpful tips and troubleshooting from the Print Liberation, you’ll soon be able to print on the bottom of a ship in a hurricane.”
