Winner for Logo Contest Announced
Our quest to find a new logo for EARZ-MAG.com has ended! We had a huge response to our appeal for underground design talent on Myspace to redesign our logo; and when Swiss graphic designer Forbach Mathias, a.k.a ‘Fichtre’, shot this magical colour-infused logo at our inbox it wasn’t hard to imagine it basking proudly at the crown of our site.
First I want to say thank you to everyone who designed a logo and sent it in; the standard was high and it was great fun to organise the whole thing and see people’s take on the website. Secondly I want to thank and congratulate Fichtre on his dope work, and say a little bit more about the man behind the logo:
Based in Vevey, Switzerland, Fichtre is one half of a duo called Themes, and is currently involved in doing commercial animation for a conference at the Geneva Convention 2008, as well as producing 4 short music videos for electro-dance band Solange La Frange, amongst other projects.
