For all of you who say it is just a font, it is. But it is a disgusting font that has been overused. How can you even take anything written in this seriously?

1. If you don’t have a sense of humor, you probably shouldn’t be reading this.

2. If you don’t understand why people hate comic sans your opinion doesn’t count.

3. Navigate to c:\windows\fonts\comicsans.ttf and press DELETE.

I find it interesting that so many people have such strong feelings towards the two fonts I hate immensely; Comic Sans Ms and Arial. I too realise this is not the biggest problem in the world, but as long as people are concerned with what Paris Hilton & the like are doing, I reserve the right to hate these fonts.

these people are supposed to be designers, right? so how come they designed their ‘no smoking’ style logo in such a way to make it look like it says ‘comic sars’? i’m not sure anyone should give them any credibility when it comes to design flaws.

I say ban ariel - the most common font that many organisations insist on staff using - boring, boring and boring - especially when the pitch is dictated as well - 12 - boooooorrrrring.

Personally, I think comic sans is a great font for instant messaging, it goes with the light casual attitude of the IMing community in general.

However, websites should stick to more plain or “Dull” fonts, simply because it makes them look a lot more credible.
(My sites always sport a nice 10-12pt Verdana)

The misuse os Comic Sans is a very serious thing to me. As well as the use of Arial for sans serif fonts.
